Clos de Balavaud is a magnificent winery spread across the plain and clinging to the mountainside. Located on the right bank of the Rhône, near Vétroz in Valais, it is the historic estate of Maison MAYE, in family hands since 1947.
Every step of the winemaking process is meticulously carried out. From grape harvesting to controlled fermentation, every process is designed to sublimate the grape’s natural aromas.
This Pinot, from the exceptional Clos de Balavaud, has a ruby-red color with burgundy nuances and a bouquet of berries and the forest floor.
It’s a delicious Pinot, full-bodied, structured and racy, strong, with a fine tannic structure and lingering spicy flavors.
