On Wednesday November 22, Swiss Wine Valais awarded its annual Étoiles du Valais, the highest distinction for Valais wines, to the following wines: Fendant, Johannisberg, Petite Arvine, Heida, Dôle, Humagne Rouge, Syrah and Cornalin
These wines were awarded top marks in their varietal category at the “Sélection des Vins du Valais” competition in August 2023, out of nearly 1,000 wines tasted. This benchmark competition for Valais AOC wines is held every year under the patronage of the Swiss Union of Oenologists (USOE).
It is with great pride that we announce that our Jean-Des-Crêtes Petite Arvine 2022 has been awarded this distinction.
Alexandre, MAYE’s oenologist, has been an integral part of the Remondeulaz family story since 2006. He is always quick to point out that MAYE’s success is also directly thanks to dozens of winegrowers who pamper their vines and entrust him with their harvest. MAYE – a name held in high esteem by connoisseurs and lovers of fine wines.
